It's a GIRL!

I know I've told a few of you in person but my sister gave me the thumbs up to share it with all of you. I'm going to be an AUNT! My sister and her husband just found out today that it's going to be.... A GIRL!

I'm going to be planning her baby shower and thrifting clothes for her like mad. Any ideas, links, pictures of cute things on pintrest will be appreciated. I'd already started a small (gender neutral) collecting of pins but now that I know it's going to be a girl, I'm going to go nuts! I will spare you for the most part but I think I will be back Favorite Finds Friday and there might (ok yes there will) be cute baby things stuck in there.

My sister's style is WAY more preppy than mine but don't think I'm not going to sneak in some stinkin' cute vintage dresses in there. :)  I really want to make her a baby blanket and some other DIY things that will make gift giving more special.



PS. I had to put these in. How cute! They are made from socks. You know baby girl will be getting one of these. :)

Boring

This is what my nights include. That and watching a WHOLE lot of How I Met Your Mother on Netflix. I have just started going to to the gym to keep up my resolution. I'm not sure how to blog and exercise at the same time. Maybe I should have put multi-tasking on my list...

I just wanted to let you know that I'm working on figuring it out so I apologize in advance if things are a bit quiet around here.

Swapping it UP!

I hosted another blogger/friends of blogger swap over the weekend. It was SUPER fun like last time but seemed to be much more smooth. I feel this is because I've grown as a hostess but it's probably just because we've all done it before. :) Thanks to Lindsey for all of the pictures! I brought my camera down but it got lost in the piles until the end.

First Date

Here's what I wore on my date on Wednesday :) I also wore it to my cousin's birthday party. You know you do it too. No one? Alright just me then. It feels great to create an outfit you feel yourself and still cute in. So, I just wear the exact same thing when I want to feel that again. Also, this can only be attempted if you aren't hanging with the same group of people again. I actually went to the store and purchased things full price for this outfit. Look out!

Vegas Night Two

This is what I wore to our dinner for our customers. Tried to be classy but still myself. I bought this dress the last time Modcloth had a sale. I bought 3 and it turned into Goldilocks and the three bears.  One was too small (and damn it was so cute!) and the other was much too big on top (story of my life) and totally unflattering. This dress was JUST RIGHT :) I wish I had gotten a picture of the back because it is a really pretty scoop back. I'm sure I'll be wearing it again though!  Not the best pictures but I wasn't going to go down to the crowded casino to get better pictures.
