I don't think it's any secret that I love Pintrest. Check out my profile and you'll see that I have over a 1200 pins and tons of boards. My favorite board is probably my "Inspiration from Bloggers" board. I love having a record of all of the outfits I love. I was clicking through the other day and found this pin.  Not only did I find inspiration for the outfit you'll see below but I found a cute new blog. Yes!

Shabby Apple

I meant to post the outfit I wore yesterday but flickr is being really dumb right now and I'm so frustrated.

Other Babes in Thriftland

Happy Wednesday!  I am looking forward to this and I hope you all will be too. I came up with a new blog feature! Every Wednesday (hopefully) I'm going to be featuring a lovely lady here on my blog. The only qualification she must have is to shop at the thrift store. I know a lot of fashionable people who shop either exclusively at the thrift store or a lot of items they own are from there. It will be a lot like my thrift week from the summer but with some new faces! Hopefully, you will be inspired to check out your local thrift stores and find some new blogs to read!

Blazing Trails

I'm wearing a blazer you guys! I love this thing. As you can tell from my archives, you will usually seem me in a cardigan or a sweater but when I saw this beauty at the thrift store, I had to get it. It even came with a matching skirt for only 7.99 for both things! I really hope that this Savers doesn't start charging more for their vintage section like some other thrift stores. I can't wait to show you everything else I got! Would you all be interested in Favorite Finds Fridays again or should I just mix that kind of stuff in. Let me know what you think!

This shirt is also one of the many things I got at B. A Resale Shop when Two Birds did their styling event. They picked it out just for me and I love it. I think it was only 5 or 7 bucks. For sure under 10. How cute right? Just the perfect color and so comfy.

Nubblies

I think I like this outfit. I felt pretty smart when I put it together at 6:30 am. I felt like it needed something which is why I'm wearing my scarf in some of the pictures. Which version do you like best?

Rock out with your guac out

Yes, this was indeed the theme for my friend's birthday party. She's pretty hilarious. She also turned 49* so you can tell her on twitter that she looks great for her age :)  We went to a relatively new restaurant called Rosa Mexicano. Ok food, GREAT guac. See below!







That guac is amazing! I could eat just that all day. YUM!

*this is the age she told everyone she was turning. She doesn't like being the youngest of our friends. She's only 25!

European Vacation

No, this isn't about National Lampoon's (I hope). I just wanted to share my excitement with all of you! My friend and I have decided to go to Europe next year to celebrate our 30th birthdays since they are only 15 days apart. I'm already excited and I have more than a year to wait! When I lived in Scotland, I traveled to Italy, Spain and France. So, those places are lower on my priority list but I bet they are high on my friend's list. On the top of my list are Amsterdam, Prague and Brussels/Antwerp. I'm looking for suggestions on places to go that you loved. Or, if you are an international reader, what are some places in your area that are great? We are looking for big city fun and also small town charm and character. I'm thinking we'll be there for about 3 weeks.

Toss out those suggestions people! I need help narrowing it down :)
