Favorite Finds Friday - Cream Pleats

I love this skirt. So sheer and flowy.  There in also lies it's flaws.  I have to wear a slip with it so the tucking gets a little complicated. Doesn't stop me though! I can't wait to wear this again this spring with lots of short sleeve tops. Any suggestions?

Not as crazy about this combo. I need some more ideas!

OK, so I was searching for other times I've worn this and apparently I've only taken pictures of it twice. I wear this skirt a lot... Well, all the more reason to put it up again!

  1. Ohhh I hate when I have to wear a slip with a skirt! Usually I will put on my shirt first, then pull the slip up under the skirt and over the top, that way it kind of hides the layer/bulk that the shirt creates underneath.

This skirt looks great with stripes, and I bet it would look darling with a polka-dot top too!

  2. I actually like it with the turquoise. I think it would be cute paired with a simple tank top in a bright color for the summer. And just about any color would work!

  3. Ooh polka dots, good idea! That would be cute. The slip is such a pain because you have to pull it up but not too high because then it shows over the top because your shirt is tucked in... pain!

  5. I agree that a tank top or something with a slight pattern would look cute!  This is a really pretty skirt!

  8. omg that first outfit is perfection!! It'll also be nice in the summer  - you could maybe try a flowy tank top, tucked in or not tucked in!!

  9. that skirt is lovely! i think it would be great paired with bold stripes— maybe in navy or mustard?! or even pastels for spring! and if you ever get tired of it as a skirt, you could turn it into a dress or a top with this diy i saw recently: http://goo.gl/qve3T
