Holiday Outfits - Candy Cane

I was lying in bed the other night trying to think of what I can do to show a little holiday cheer here on the 'ol blog. I know that some of you might not celebrate Christmas but another holiday or maybe not celebrate at all. But this is a blog about my life so I'm going to do it anyway :) I thought a good way to do this was to show you what outfits I'll be wearing to different holiday functions. I think it's easy to think of dressing "festively" as being cheesy or over the top. I don't agree. Sure, you could wear that shirt with a big santa or the sweater that lights up but you can be festive without all that!

My dad was in a Christmas Carol at our community theater this weekend and this is what I wore. It could be worn at any time during the winter but I thought it was a fun play on candy cane colors which is why I also wore the cream tights.
